Fic: To Change (BSC, Claudia/Stacey, NC-17)

Title: To Change
Fandom: The Baby-Sitters Club
Pairing: Claudia/Stacey
Rating: NC-17
Notes: Written for Amber, [info]delicatamour, who requested "Claudia\Stacey or Dawn\Kristy, preferably R to NC-17 rating," in the Baby-Sitters Club Femmslash Ficathon.
This is set in the same year as To Understand and To Know, so it can be read in the same universe, although it doesn't reference either of them. (I once considered writing seven stories, one for each of the girls, and calling it the Infinitive Series.)

Fic: All in the Family (BSC, Dawn/Kristy, PG-13)

Title: All in the Family
Pairing: Dawn/Kristy
Rating: PG-13, if that
Summary: Dawn and Kristy come out to their siblings. Not everyone is happy about it.

Fic: Alike and Dislike (BSC, Dawn/Stacey, PG-13)

Title: Alike and Dislike
Pairing(s): Dawn/Stacey, unreq-Mary Anne/Stacey, Mary Anne/Kristy
Rating: PG-13
Summary: You wonder if everyone just tries to find someone that they're like, rather than someone they're different from.
Author's Notes: Set sort of in the same universe as my fic A Thousand Kisses. (Or maybe not, who knows.) Written for [info]thisredrock, because she really likes this pairing.

Fic: A Thousand Kisses (BSC, Dawn/Stacey, NC-17)

Title: A Thousand Kisses
Rating: NC-17
Warning: Girlslash
Pairing: Dawn/Stacey
Date: December 2003
Author's Note: This was written for the "I'll write you a drabble" meme that went around ages ago and that I never finished. [info]slurp gave me the challenge: Dawn/Stacey, word "reflection". This is a bit longer than the average drabble, 700 words.

Apologies for the sappy title.

Fic: Expectations (BSC, Claire/Jenny, PG-13)

Title: Expectations
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Claire Pike/Jenny Prezzioso.
Date: September 2003
Author's Note: Little sister slash ahoy, but it's very light slash. The real problem with little sister slash is that it's hard to keep the kids in character between age five and age eighteen. (Especially Claire Pike. Try incorporating her silly-billy-goo-goo propensity into an 18-year-old. It cannot be done.)
Set thirteen years after the Baby-Sitters Club series. Jenny Prezzioso is 17 and Claire Pike is 18, but they're in the same class for reasons that are explained in the fic. Inspired by the following line from BSC #4: Mary Anne Saves the Day: "And Jenny tries hard, but she just isn't what her mother wants her to be." This, of course, was before Ann M. wrote Jenny as the stereotypical brat.

Fic: A New York Minute (BSC, Dawn/Kristy, PG)

Title: A New York Minute
Rating: PG-13
Warning, pairing: Kristy/Dawn, Kristy's POV, first-person narration
Date: August 2003
Author's Note: Set during #18, Stacey's Mistake, specifically the scene where Stacey divides them up into separate beds for their first night in New York. The How Dawn/Kristy Happened universe is borrowed from [info]paranoidkitten.

Fic: You Learn (BSC, various, NC-17)

Title: You Learn
Rating: NC-17
Warning, pairing: Carolyn/Charlotte, Marilyn/Charlotte, unrequited-Marilyn/Carolyn twincest.
Date: August 2003
Author's Note: This came out a lot darker and more depressing than I intended it to be, and frankly, I'm not sure that I like it. I was rereading Mary Anne and the Great Romance (#31) and thought, "Hey, I can write BSC twincest and experiment with second-person POV at the same time!" Now that I've finished it, I also think the twincest ended up being the lesser element and the story could do without it, but there isn't enough twincest in BSC fanfic.
Set eight years after the BSC series, mainly so that my slashing tendencies are not entirely pedophilic. This is my first time with the second-person POV, so in case it came out really shaky, this story is told from Marilyn's viewpoint.

Fic: To Know (BSC, Mallory/Marnie Skyedottir, PG-13)

Title: To Know
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Mallory Pike/Marnie Skyedottir
Date: July 2003
Author's Note: Set roughly the same time as my fic To Understand – the end of Mallory's freshman year in high school. She's still at boarding school. This makes the rest of the BSC (minus Jessi) at the end of their junior years.
Now, this character thing is the hard part. Marnie Skyedottir, Mallory's girlfriend in this story, is borrowed from Nancy Werlin's novel Locked Inside, which is a companion to her novel The Killer's Cousin, both of which I recommend. According to canon, Marnie attended a celebrity school around age 11, when her mother Skye died, and then when she was 16, she went to another school called Halsett Academy for Girls, also in Massachusetts, which is where Locked Inside takes place. I'm playing with the canon in that we'll pretend that Marnie attended Mallory's boarding school for this year, when they were both freshmen. So I guess in that way, it's sort of a crossover.

Also, I realize the canon error – that Mary Anne and Logan have already broken up by now – but I'm keeping it in because, well, we'll call it AU.

Fic: To Understand (The Baby-Sitters Club, Dawn/Sunny, NC-17)

Title: To Understand
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Dawn/Sunny
Date: July 2003
Author's Note: Slashing Harry Potter is one thing. The kids are young in some of the books, sure, but somehow it fits with the newness of the magical world and the dark themes that have always been present. Slashing The Saddle Club is something else. Okay, so Carole, Lisa, and Stevie are twelve and thirteen in that series, but they are older in the Pine Hollow series, so maybe it's not such an awful thing.
Slashing The Baby-Sitters Club, on the other hand, is perhaps inexcusable, and great amounts of fun.

So I did the writing, but [info]paranoidkitten laid the inspiration, and therefore if you're going to flame, it's only fair that she gets one too. :)

Set in California, three years after The Baby-Sitters Club, making Dawn and Mary Anne sixteen and juniors in high school, and Jeff thirteen and in eighth grade.
